Oh, how I love this time of year!

Yes, even down here in Chiapas, our mornings are crisp. Our “Flame of the Forest” tree is dropping its beautiful orange blossoms like a carpet on our green lawn. Evenings drop to a chilling cold so I get a fire every night. It’s all quite cozy! You really should come visit.

There is so much for which to be grateful! Just waking up to beauty, huge trees, lovely weather, and the sweet faces of our girls is enough. We are blessed to live on this beautiful property. We cook and dine in a big, beautiful kitchen and dining room. We have a marvelous chef, Michael, and all his incredible sous chefs: Reina, Flori, Miriam, and Abril. I get to be the pastry chef!

I am so blessed every night after we do our devotions to hear each of our girls’ prayers. We have witnessed some incredible transformations in their hearts and in their ability to believe and trust in a good Father/God. They have experienced such deep, internal healing already in just this first year! God is AMAZING! He really does perform the “impossible”!

We’ve planned our Thanksgiving meal  for our girls, Turkey, stuffing, and all the traditions. It will be another first for them. I am so grateful we get to make a big deal over Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving doesn’t just have to be an American tradition! All of us are so grateful for so many different reasons! We need to acknowledge and celebrate them.

YOU, precious friends, are the reason we get to provide all these gifts to our girls. We are so grateful for how the Lord has brought you all alongside this vision and mission to provide a Home, a Hope, and a Future to young girls caught up in sexual abuse, trafficking, abandonment, and hopelessness. It is actually happening! Our God does above and beyond what we even imagined or expected… and He continues to do so!

As you may have heard, we are adding Janeth, Lupita, and Angelica to our family this year! We know God will provide all that we need to bring them HOME! Pray with us to have the Lord provide, in His miraculous ways, all that we need to care for these girls. We know He will expand our resources and reserves by bringing in more partners! We have seen how very creative He is!
