Statement of Faith

We believe Jesus is the only Son of God, who came to earth as a man, died for our sins, and was resurrected bodily and came back to life. We believe all who put their faith and trust in Him and confess Him as their Lord and Savior are forgiven of their sins and become part of the body of Christ, His Church.

We believe that the BIBLE, the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and are without error, given to us by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit for our instruction, edification, correction and moral guidance. (2 Timothy 3:16,17).

We believe that there is one true God, eternally existing in three persons of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Col. 1:15-20; John 16:13).

We believe that JESUS CHRIST is God’s only begotten Son, who became a man without ceasing to be God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and by his substitutionary death atoned for all sin; was bodily resurrected and ascended into heaven, and to this day makes continual intercession for the believers until he returns again as redeemer/king of his earthly church. (Matthew 16:16-17; John 3:16; Col. 1:15-20; Romans 5:8; Hebrews 7:22).

We believe in the HOLY SPIRIT, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; whose indwelling enables the believer to live a godly life and to sanctify, comfort, and seal those who believe in Jesus Christ; and to empower them to use Biblical spiritual gifts for the carrying out of the work of Jesus Christ in His church and the world. (Acts 2:38-39; 1Corinthians 12: 1-12).

We believe that all men are sinners by nature and are therefore under condemnation, that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit, those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We believe that eternal salvation is a gift of God given mankind by grace through the Holy Spirit and received by personal faith and confession in the sufficient atonement work of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sin and to provide eternal life with the Father for all who believe and are saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 6:28; Romans 10:9-10).

We believe that God works through His Church, which consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. Among His purposes for the Church is to proclaim and demonstrate the “Good News”, which is that the atoning sacrifice and transforming power of Jesus Christ is available to all who believe. In addition, the further purpose of the Church is to express to God the worship and praise He deserves; to build up the believer in spiritual maturity and to equip and send them out into the world for works of service in honor and obedience to the charge of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:9-10; Ephesians 4:11-16; 2 Corinthians 5:18-20; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19).
