The adventure continues..

Hello Dear Friends and Family,

January 2023 signifies a new start to a new year. To me, it feels like an extended pregnancy waiting for a baby (babies) to arrive. There is, and continues to be, soooo much preparation.

We’re not exactly in the “nesting phase” yet.
That will be when I’m putting sheets, blankets, and pillows on the beds, laying rugs down, decorating and putting pictures up...when we’re buying all of the necessary soap and shampoo and creme rinse in the bathroom, don’t forget toilet paper and… oh, so much more for girls!

Their casita is looking beautiful. We’re almost in the last phase of construction where the floor, cabinetry, windows, and doors go in. Just like the anticipation of bringing a child home, you plan and prepare the best you can to meet all their needs. We know that only God knows the specific needs of each young lady He will bring to us. Some may need far more than we can ever anticipate. But we know we are not going it alone.

Like I’ve said before, it is quite an adventure! We are so blessed, pleased, and amazed by how many of you have said you are with us. There is a saying, “I don’t know what the future holds but I know who holds my future.” We really don’t know what is ahead for us, but we are continuing to prepare for young ladies who have no home or future, and for those who have lost their hopes and dreams.

Our vision has been to create a family, a hope, and a future. Thank you for joining us in preparing for the future family! We can’t wait for the time you will come down and find your place in ministering, teaching, and befriending our young ladies.

Until They All Come Home

Love and thanks,
Michael and Celeste Peters
