Building A House: Angie’s Story
Dear Partners,
Recently, one of our newest residents, Angie, shared something while on a video call with her brother that deeply touched our hearts: "I learned about God here at Reina's Hope, and if I had never come here, I might have never known that God loves me and has a purpose for my life."
Those profound words capture the very reason Reina's Hope exists.
Every girl who comes to us arrives carrying a story marked by trauma, abuse, and abandonment. Many have never experienced the security of a loving family, the encouragement of trusted mentors, or the hope that comes from knowing they are deeply loved by God.
Like Angie, every girl welcomed into our family becomes known, valued, and supported as she begins to heal from the wounds of her past. Through consistent loving care, counseling, education, and spiritual discipleship, these young women begin to discover their God-given worth and purpose. As healing takes place, they gain the tools and confidence to pursue a productive, Christ-centered future.
Ten years ago, we had a vision to create Reina’s Hope. Today, it has become a place of hope, healing, and new beginnings. Currently, we are anticipating the arrival of three new young girls, which will bring our home to full capacity. But several more are waiting to join our family.
In response to this growing need, we recently met with our architect to begin planning and developing a budget for the construction of a new home. This home will provide space for eight more girls whom the Lord may entrust to our care in the years ahead.
To make this vision a reality, we need your partnership. Building a new home requires significant resources, and we invite you to join us in this mission. Your generosity can create a safe and loving environment for the next generation of girls at Reina's Hope.
