A New Life, A Continued Calling

Dear Friend,

Greetings and peace to you from Chiapas.

We are writing to you today with our hearts overflowing with gratitude and wonder. Our family has recently stepped into a beautiful new chapter: we are officially grandparents! Our first granddaughter was recently born in Seattle, Washington, to our daughter Rachel and son-in-law, Joey. Holding that precious, tiny life in our arms and witnessing the miracle of a new generation has filled us with a joy that’s hard to put into words.

Yet, as we celebrate this sweet blessing thousands of miles away, our hearts and daily lives remain anchored here in Mexico. We carry that contrast and tension daily, holding both realities in a delicate and deliberate balance.

Our daily mission is to walk alongside them, guiding them toward true healing and carefully preparing them for a life of purpose. It is a ministry of intentional, daily investment—listening to their stories, teaching them life skills, and showing them their immense value in the eyes of their Creator. In the same way that we want the absolute best for our new granddaughter, we want these girls to realize their full potential and step boldly into the future God has designed for them.

We cannot do this without you. Your faithful prayers and financial support are the bridge that allows us to be present in both of these worlds.
